Their efforts drive core innovations in Large Language Models (LLMs) and promote the deep specialization of AI applications and services, ensuring these tools are finely tailored to the subtle differences in specific industries and user needs.

DeWorker integrates cryptographic and AI technologies to ensure transparency and fairness in recognizing and rewarding the contributions of all participants. This protocol-based approach not only accelerates the advancement of AI technology but also creates a mutually beneficial environment for users, developers, and community contributors. With DeWorker, users can easily access and actively utilize high-quality AI services, while those providing AI applications and services can showcase their skills and gain due recognition on a balanced and fair platform.

Background

The development of AI technology is a collaborative effort across the scientific community, beginning with the initial recognition of the potential for combining intelligence and computational sciences. The goal of scientists was to explore the possibility of machines simulating human intelligence, with the hope of bringing about technological transformation that would ultimately serve all of humanity. As the maturity and application capabilities of technology have improved, large commercial companies have gradually begun to consolidate AI capabilities within their control. This has, to some extent, damaged the diversity of technology and the collaborative network of researchers, leading to underutilization of resources. Our first task is to address the centralization of AI technology and resources.

The evolution of AI technology has been gradual, not an overnight success. AI initially started with the concept of intelligence, and the application of simulating human intelligence has been continuously developing. Broadly speaking, applications from Web2 to Web3 have become increasingly intelligent. However, as we advance AI, it seems that people have overlooked a perspective. Most people believe that AI is an extremely intelligent and capable AGI species that will emerge in the next 5 to 10 years.

In fact, the intelligence mentioned in AI has been evolving; it is more of a "process," a state of flow. At the same time, humans are also pursuing the generalization of human intelligence, not only becoming more intelligent themselves but also striving to make surrounding organizations, technologies, machines, and tools more intelligent. This is a continuous process of exploration and pursuit. The development of multimodal capabilities in AI technology now provides us with a possibility, that is, using the adhesive capabilities of current AI technology to transform existing Web2 applications into an AI-worker, and to enable multiple AI-workers to collaborate and generate more powerful capabilities, bringing changes to people's work and life. Therefore, the second issue is to improve the productivity of AI.

We need to create a chemical reaction between the current AI technology and the existing infrastructure, fully explore the technological combination force, and make AI's productivity more concrete and closer to commercial production.Currently, the commercial organizations in the human world are almost all based on the company structure, which is a brilliant invention about organizational change and creativity stimulation. However, with the emergence of super individuals and the improvement of productivity in small team-based organizations, people demand more creator value, and they expect to receive a fairer and more reasonable creator value.

Taking the AI field as an example, during the process of intelligent evolution, researchers have always been the main force of innovation, but they have not received corresponding rewards. With the development of AI technology, the creativity of individual "workers" will become more powerful. In the future, it will certainly be seen that a human worker manages dozens of AI-workers at the same time, forming a workspace, and the value and influence they provide will definitely surpass some companies. So our problem is clear: how to measure value and motivate these AI-workers?

Solution

The current basic communication protocol of the Internet is the TCP/IP protocol stack, which standardizes and standardizes the positioning of each layer and each role, as well as how to interconnect with other roles, defining the norms of collaboration. The social products, email, and video services we use now all rely on this protocol to complete end-to-end services. There are various types of protocols, if it can inspire an industry, define a set of collaborative standards for participants, such as the emergence of BTC, it has created a brand new, open mining collaboration network, miners can collaborate with each other according to standard specifications to maintain a powerful network, and it provides a fair and credible incentive mechanism, thus forming the current cryptocurrency ecosystem, stimulating the unparalleled creativity of builders from all walks of life.

When we think deeply about the evolution of AI technology, the development of Internet protocols, and the production relations revolution brought about by blockchain technology, we gradually find solutions to the above three problems. Abstractly speaking, the solution includes the following aspects:

  1. Open, standardized protocol: The protocol provides the norms for mutual collaboration and communication among various roles. It allows any role to enter and exit freely, and different roles exchange information through standard interfaces; at the same time, this protocol is layered, the definition between different roles is clear and simple, making their collaboration more efficient; in addition, the protocol is also scalable, each layer of the protocol can be scaled horizontally, enhancing the efficiency of the protocol.

  2. Effective verifiable incentive mechanism: The protocol contains multiple roles, and different roles provide different values to the protocol, so defining a clear and verifiable incentive framework helps attract different roles to enter the ecosystem. In this protocol, incentives will be established based on multi-angle verification standards, and this framework includes user feedback, API data, computing power, data, liquidity, and other multi-factor incentive algorithms.

  3. Composable AI-Worker technology stack: In the future, AI-workers will appear in the form of super individuals or super-automated organizations. From the perspective of the protocol hierarchy, AI-workers are located between the Blockchain and the application layer, providing rich technical stack capabilities for the upper-level AI applications, including but not limited to LLM training, data mining, Game Agent, multimodal generation services, and other basic capabilities. Finally, the protocol is composable both horizontally and vertically, just like the composability of DeFi, AI-workers provide interfaces for external modules to assemble into new services, and this feature greatly stimulates the creativity of decentralized AI services.

The total supply of Deworker tokens is 1 billion, with a halving every two years. The first year's release is 150 million, and the release for the first five years is as follows:

  • Year 1: 150 million

  • Year 2: 150 million

  • Year 3: 75 million

  • Year 4: 75 million

  • Year 5: 37.5 million

  • Others

The token reward rules consider both the costs for node miners and liquidity needs, as well as the long-term development of the project. By integrating the incentive model of BTC with the DAO organization's contribution-based incentive model, a daily release model is adopted to motivate various roles. The incentives are directed towards third-party applications, liquidity providers, owners, miners, and staking users within the AI-worker, as well as contributors within the DAO. The specific allocation rules are as follows:

  • Workspace-App: The application layer is entitled to a default of 5% of the daily block reward. This can be adjusted annually based on DAO assessment and governance. If there are N applications in the application layer, they are allocated according to the proportion of API calls made to AI-Workers. For example, if APP 1 accounts for 5% of all AI-Worker API calls in the entire App layer, then APP1's daily reward is calculated as 5% of (4.109 million) tokens * 5% = 1027.25 tokens.

  • Guardian Nodes: The group of guardian node collectively accounts for 25% of the total daily block reward. Each node's incentive is calculated based on the proportion of the capital they have committed to the entire staked node pool. For example, if Gm1 has committed 50K ETH, representing 20% of the entire Gm Pools, then Gm1's daily reward is 25% of 4.109 million * 20% = 20,545 tokens.

  • DAO Contributors: Mainly for incentives to developers, business developers, ecological funds, and community contributors, who receive 10% of the daily block reward.

  • AI-Worker Node: The AI-worker layer accounts for 60% of all daily block rewards. AI-workers are incentivized based on a score ratio. Assuming AI-Worker 1 accounts for 10% of all, then AI-Worker1's daily rewards are 60% of 4.109 million tokens * 10% = 24,654 tokens.

  • AI-Worker Internal Incentive Ratio: There are three incentive roles within an AI-Worker: miners, the owner itself, and users participating in the AI-Worker's staking. The owner can decide on the distribution ratio for each role, such as 60% to miners, 20% to the owner, and 20% to staking users, or allocate all rewards to miners and staking users.

  • AI-Worker Internal Miner Incentive Ratio: If 100% of the AI-Worker's rewards are allocated to miners, then miners are rewarded based on service scores. Miners are scored based on response speed and service stability.

Protocol Governance

The DAO Governance Module is the core decision-making component within the Deworker protocol, ensuring the interests of all stakeholders are aligned. It provides a democratic platform for capital providers, developers, and community members to influence the direction of the protocol.

The module operates through a voting system, allowing community decisions on protocol changes and upgrades, promoting fairness and preventing the concentration of power. It actively monitors the health of the protocol, adjusting incentives to encourage behaviors that benefit the network as the AI and blockchain landscapes evolve.

As the Deworker protocol evolves, the DAO Governance Module remains proactive, safeguarding the protocol's sustainability and adaptability. It upholds the protocol's long-term viability, delivering ongoing value to users and contributors. The protocol's minimal governance approach ensures efficient operation while leveraging community wisdom, enabling agility and responsiveness to user needs in a decentralized manner.
